Journeyer and scholar, Madame X, Matriarch of Our House, presently lives in inspiring Savannah, GA, where she set her passions on the completion of "V", the vampyre subculture book. This controversial book presents a collection of philosophies, traditions, and techniques designed to challenge and inspire this rapidly growing subculture. It focuses on community conduct, spirituality, energy work and provides an excellent compendium summarizing vampyre folklore throughout the world. More information on this underground publication can be found at www.vampyrealmanac.com.
Being an eclectic spiritualist and a chaos magician, Madame X's views on metaphysics and Vampyrism are sacred and diverse. Knowing that the vampyric nature is not easily explained, she feels that the desire to decipher it opens portals to a kaleidoscope of personal ideologies; transcending an insatiable love for life, spheres of spiritual awakenings, and transformations into the completion of the self, where the journey itself is the ultimate key.
Madame X is Kharrus, or priestess, of the Strigoi Vii, a Vampyre Order recognized world-wide, she is the Georgia ChapterHead of 'Bloodlines International', jointly organizes 'Black Atlantis', an Atlanta-based Vampyre Haven, and co-promotes Savannah's own 'Pagan Pride Day', while dedicating herself to her many introspective explorations.
Her birthright in Western Europe, Madame X lived in the NY/NJ area where she became a muse to aspiring artists, through "The Rift Arts Forum", a creationist's not-for-profit guild, offering a constant outpour of cultural/art-related happenings. If you delve in such, perhaps you have met her in some dimly lit cafe, heard her lyrical words on the radio or on the cable TV programs "Vampyre Dreams" or "Vampyre Lounge", read her work in "Vampyre Magazine", or have met her at the "Endless Night" gatherings in New Orleans. Inspired by a desire to motivate others to the same path of self-discovery and evolution, Madame X was a vital part in the conception of several regional vampyre societies, including: "The Iron Garden" (NJ) and "The Court of Lazarus" (NY). Among Madame X's many volunteering efforts, she has performed at the NJ Renaissance Faire, an orphan's charity, and has volunteered as literary panel mediator for the AIDS charity, "GothCon" in New Orleans and Atlanta.
Some of her international travel exploits include: São Paulo, Caracas, Quebec, London, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Madrid, Paris, Rome & the Transylvanian haunts of Romania. Exploring the culture and myths of these foreign lands, she is fluent in the poetry and the fictions of the heart, as well as their native tongues, being both multilingual and a poet.
Madame X's mystique and influence walks hand and hand with her creative flair in a pointed effort to cultivate the interests and spiritual movement that truly define the Vampyre nature. Feel free to reach her via TheMadameX@houseofthedreaming.org or through AIM as TheMadameX.
